Real Housewives of New York 4/8/10

So, the Real Housewives of New York are supposed to be my favorite housewives, but I must say, they have become extremely catty and petty this season which is a real turn-off. I fell in love with this cast because of the friendship that Jill & Bethenny shared. It seemed very authentic and sincere. Unfortunately, now that they're cat-fighting, the show has become petty. It actually used to be funny because the pair of them are like two comedians. Now, we have to hear the word "career" come out of Bethenny's mouth every week and we have to hear Jill say that she's "over" Bethenny every week.

The person that I'm most disappointed in is Jill. She was by far my favorite housewife out of all of the housewife shows. I never thought that I would see her put people on speaker, make people take sides, and refuse to go to parties because two people that she knows are mad at each other. It's all very strange. It doesn't seem like the two of them will ever make up either, which is sad.
On this week's episode, Bethenny went on a mission to get Ramona to Brooklyn, but unfortunately, it backfired because Ramona humiliated Bethenny by telling her that she doesn't have any friends. Of course, within 10 minutes, Ramona was back to being best buds with Bethenny, and she acted like nothing ever happened. One of the best lines of the episode was when Bethenny called the experience a Ramonacoaster.
Next, Alex has Bethenny, Kelly, and Ramona meet her in Brooklyn to work on the fashion show. Ramona decides to tell Bethenny that she should come over to her house to talk to Jill face to face. Bethenny decides to take Ramona up on her offer and she's shows up at Ramona's house to surprise Jill. Low and behold, Jill was surprised! Jill felt that she was being ambushed and for about 3 minutes, she acted like she wasn't even going to sit down and talk to Bethenny. They finally sat down and started rehashing the whole "Bobby in the hospital" issue again. Luann seemed to be disturbed that Bethenny and Jill were meeting, so she decided to interrupt their conversation by offering them tea. Bethenny continued to pour her heart out to Jill and Jill just wasn't having it. Even though Bethenny was crying, Jill continued to say that their friendhsip was over. Soon after, Luann went back in the room to tell Jill that they have to leave. Bethenny awkwardly left the house and Jill & Luann proceeded to berate Ramona for inviting Bethenny over. At this point, Jill started crying. The whole thing was a big mess. I agree that they need to talk, but they need to talk ALONE.
