My new favorite drama! So, this week's case was very interesting! A girl was accused of killing her college roommate. The writers took us behind the scenes into the jury room to get their perspective of the case. Meanwhile, we were walked through the case and the testimonies, step by step. There were a lot of unsolved mysteries about the case, but Kalinda uncovered some things about some of the other students and unearthed a new suspect. From there, the new love of Diane's life, McVeigh, the ballistics expert, discovers that the shooting was actually accidental and self inflicted. Unfortunately, Diane and McVeigh hooked up at a hotel the night before and the prosecution found out about it, so his testimony was thrown out.
Meanwhile, the jury continued to deliberate. As they came to a unanimous decision, they were told that the defendant was talked into taking a plea bargain of 10 yrs. The ending was shocking! We got to see that the jury actually found her not guilty prior to them being notified of the plea. That poor girl was sentenced to 10 years for no reason!
The part of the show that we all love the most is the sexual tension between Will and Alicia. Will called Alicia at home and they started talking about what "could've been" at Georgetown. Unfortunately, Alicia's daughter overheard the entire conversation. On top of that, it's clear that both Kalinda and Diane have picked up on the sexual tension. I'm dying to see what happens next!!!
