Caprica "End of the Line" 3/26/10

Caprica wins the award for most content put into a mid-season-break "finale" ever. Seriously, I could barely keep up with all of the story lines in this episode. I really wish that the writers would've put some of this content in previous "content-lite" episodes. Here are my highlights:

  • Joseph Adama FINALLY finds his daughter, only to get "killed' out of the game by her.
  • Daniel is officially broke. He has decided to sell the Buccaneers to Vergis. On top of that, the Army found out that the chip was stolen, so they're threatening to end their contract.
  • Barnabas and Clarice have a little spat which ends with Clarice threatening to go to STO leadership and shut him down.
  • Lacy decides to sell herself to the devil (Barnabas) in order to get Zoe to Gemenon. In return, he asks her to switch out Clarice's key chain with a bomb. Unfortunately, Barnabas made it clear that he couldn't get Zoe to Gemenon any time soon.
  • Daniel told Philomon to burn away any generative anomalies in the U-87's chip which will ultimate erase Zoe's presence. Zoe overhears this (of course) and she plans a getaway on her own since Lacy can't get her out of there quick enough.
  • Amanda Graystone has totally gone off of the deep end. She decides to go stand on the top of a bridge which ironically saves Clarice's life, because she gets out of her car to "rescue" Amanda just as Barnabas detinates the bomb.
  • The episode ends with Zoe desperately trying to escape by stealing a van and driving through a military barricade.
