American Idol Top 12 Performance Show 3/16/10

OMG! How did these people get into the Top 12?! I feel like the judges are trying to make the best out of this horrible situation by just giving good feedback to people who sounded average. I must say, I had basically given up on Ellen (as a judge), but she was really funny tonight. Randy has slowly turned into the annoying one.

Highlights:

• I love how Katie's mom played a video of her singing horribly as a child. That should be a sign for the viewers.
  
  
  
• Why in the world would these kids pick the most boring Rolling Stones songs ever made. They have an AMAZING catalog. Why in the world would you pick a forgettable song? Most of them picked slow songs or mid tempo songs. SO STRANGE.  
• I like Lacey, but she needs to stop with the sitting. Then, little Aaron decided to sit down, too. BE ORIGINAL!  ENOUGH already with sitting on the steps.
• The make-up artists must've decided to pour foundation all over Aaron's face. Either that, or someone went crazy with the spray tan.

Best of the Night:
Siobhan Magnus and Crystal Bowersox were by far the best. Lee & Paige did ok, as well. Crystal is SO sincere and original. I loved watching her video package tonight. Her dad almost had me in tears. It was great to see that she's always been the same-- she's not creating a character for the show. She knows who she is.

Who needs to GO:
Tim Urban! This guy stood there and attempted to sing reggae while giving us a strange deer in the headlights look the entire time. PLEASE send him home. He barely made it on the show anyway.
