Alex Lambert, Lilly Scott, Todrick Hall and Katelyn Epperly Don't Make the Top 12! American Idol Season 9

I really haven't taken a lot of time to talk about this season of Idol. It's been extremely disappointing. First of all, I really miss Paula. I am still trying to understand why they have 4 judges. More than any other season, we've heard repeatedly that the contestants are confused by the judge's feedback. The reason why they're confused is because there are WAY too many people from different backgrounds giving them direction. We saw a little bit of this last year when Kara joined the cast, but it's even worse now with Kara AND Ellen.
Three judges is more than enough. The chemistry is totally gone. At the start of every ep, there's always a scripted move from Ellen or Kara involving Simon; i.e. sitting on Simon's lap, or moving their chairs closer to Simon; etc. It's all fake. Outside of there being too many useless judges, they've picked awful
talent. There's no way in the world that you can tell me that these are the top 12 young singers in the country that auditioned for that show... NO WAY! These people have literally been horrible! The only consistent performers have been Crystal Bowersox & Casey James. Some of the others are fairly good; i.e Didi Benami, Lee Dewyze, Andrew Garcia, and Lacey Brown, but they have been very inconsistent. I'm hoping that they just received a boost of confidence by making it into the top 12. We'll see!The three people that I can't stand the most are Michael Lynche, Tim Urban, & Aaron Kelly. Michael (Big Mike) is just way too cocky. The sight of him grosses me out. Tim Urban is simply not ready for this show. He's any random cute guy that sings in any random dive bar. Aaron Kelly is Chicken Little reincarnated-- been there, done that. With that said, I clearly think that the wrong people were sent home. Todrick for sure could've replaced Tom or Aaron. Lily and Katelyn could've replaced Siobhan Magnus or Katie Stevens BIG TIME.
I'm going to keep tuning in and hope for an improvement, but I think that this may be my last year. Especially with Simon leaving.
