So, I didn't do anything at all from 6pm - 11:30pm except watch the Grammy's & the Red Carpet! The Red Carpet was actually kind of boring because at the Grammy's, you pretty much expect everyone to look crazy. The Red Carpet started out on an interesting note because the Pants on the Ground Guy did a mini performance on E!. I was cracking up because this guy is literally everywhere at this
point! At the end of his "performance" he started handing out belts (pull your pants up)! Too funny!

Fashion:
- Keri Hilson looked better than she's ever looked on the Red Carpet (although she didn't know who's jewelry she was wearing).
- Maxwell was PERFECT. So handsome!
- Lady Gaga didn't disappoint us... She looked like Lady Gaga. Not sure why people are still shocked about her appearance.
Jamie Foxx brought his daughter and his sister with him to the Grammy's which was a nice gesture. - Nicole Kidman looked flawless, as usual, except her hair (BTW, it's weird seeing her at music events).
- Miley Cyrus looked like... Miley Cyrus. She had in VERY long extensions and she confirmed that she's not engaged. She's wearing a promise ring.
- Didn't really like Katy Perry's dress, but it was better than what she normally wears.
- Taylor Swift wins 'best dressed of the night' from me. She looked stunning and age appropriate.
- Sheryl Crow looked like she was on her way to church.
- Ciara's makeup was amazing, but her outfit was hideous.
- Still trying to figure out what Ashanti was doing there? She hasn't had an album in forever (at least a successful one) and she looked like she was going to Prom.
The Show:
- Lady Gaga & Elton opened up the show with an awesome performance. I was a little disturbed that the crowd didn't give them a standing 'O'. As I continued to watch the show, it seemed like they stood for everyone else...
- Beyonce started off strong with a Halo performance and then she took a wrong left turn when she started singing Alanis Morisette's, You Outta Know. I still can't figure out why Beyonce tries to do covers. She has a very large catalog of music that she can perform and she doesn't do well with covers AT ALL.
- Pink did an aerial performance which was the best performance of the night. She did an aerial performance and towards the end, she immersed herself into water, and then she went back into the air. She did all of this while singing (ON KEY). She's a pure talent!
- The Black Eyed Peas performed a couple of their hits. They were good.
- Green Day performed '21 Guns' with the cast of the 'American Idiot' Broadway show. That performance was just OK (although I LOVE Green Day).
- The Michael Jackson tribute was awesome, although I didn't have 3D glasses. Usher, Celine, Carrie Underwood, Smokey Robinson, and Jennifer Hudson all sounded great singing 'Earth Song' and you could feel their passion through the screen. The highlight was when Michael's children, Prince & Paris, accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award on his behalf. They are so adorable and they did a good job.
- Jamie Foxx and T-Pain performed 'Blame it on the Alcohol' and although they were lip syncing for 85% of the song, they brought a lot of much needed energy to that part of the show. Doug E. Fresh came out towards the end and I'll be honest, it got a little chaotic. Jamie also brought his sister out on stage and she started dancing.
- The Dave Matthews Band performed and they were good. Same with Bon Jovi, they performed 'Living on a Prayer'!!!!!
- Maxwell performed with Roberta Flack and he was great!
- Eminem, Drake, & Lil Wayne performed (last performance) and it would've been good if every other word wasn't bleeped. i could barely hear the song... One thing I will say is that they had a lot of energy.
- There were other performances, but I was bored by them, so I won't mention them.
So, overall, it was an entertaining show! Some of the big winners of the night were:
Beyonce- 6; Taylor Swift- 4; Black Eyed Peas- 3; Kings of Leon- 3; Eminem- 2; Jay-Z- 2; Lady Gaga- 2
