Since no one was eliminated last week, it gave everyone some time to talk about their strategies. The reward challenge was a white water rafting trip with food. Brendan, JT, and Debra were the three winners and they send Stephan to exile island. While they were away, Brendan and JT bonded. When they got back to camp, Brendan created an alliance with Taj, JT, Stephan, and Sierra (so he thought). Meanwhile, Coach and Tyson still had their alliance with Stephan, Debra, JT, and Stephan. Brendan wanted to get rid of Coach and Coach wanted to get rid of Brendan. Tyson won immunity, again, so there was no chance of getting rid of him. The interesting piece was that JT was actually in the power position. Both "sides" wanted him to align with them and everyone constantly says that he's a nice guy. He had a choice of either sending Brendan home or Coach home. If it were me, I would send Coach home.
The title of this episode should've been called: Coach the Liar. He started off telling a story about being kidnapped by the natives during a kayaking trip in the Amazon. He clearly made up the most elaborate story ever. Then, he was asked about his morning workout. He proceeded to tell the group that it's a Chi technique that you won't find on google. It has to be passed down... He is a true exaggerator.
In the end, the group decided to get rid of Brendan (and his immunity idol). I felt bad for Brendan because he really thought that he was going to blindside Coach! Now, Coach and Tyson are going to treat Sierra like crap. I'm hoping that the group wises up and gets rid of one of them next week. If they're smart, they'll get rid of Tyson (if he doesn't win immunity). He seems to be the bigger physical & mental threat of the two.
