Making the Band 4/16/09

Bye, Aundrea! I was happy to finally get resolution on the whole Danity Kane situation this week. We've been wondering when Puff was going to end this mess. Clearly the other three girls weren't interested in coming back. Aundrea was just sitting around the house eating with no make-up on, and Dawn was just following Day 26 around stirring up trouble. It's been made very clear to us that Dawn is Puff's favorite. He decided to keep her around as a "writer" and he sent boring Aundrea packing. I pray that he doesn't try to put another DK together. It's over just like the other 50 groups he's worked with in the past. Just move on.
Dawn tried to act sad, although she was perfectly fine by the end of the week after her "publicist" set her up
with a Vibe Vixen photo shoot. Ironically, the person who was all about DK and who would never go out and do anything on her own without the group, had a publicist. How ironic is that? Whatever, we'll probably never see her again...
Que was forced to stay home and look pitiful while the rest of Day 26 enjoyed themselves on a cruise. They seemed to be OK without him although Brian seemed to be worked up about him not being there. I felt like Brian was being a little fake. It was overkill. If Mike and Robert (his real friends) were OK with it, then why was Brian going on and on about "it not feeling right". I think that he was just trying to show that he's not the bad guy. Whatever.
