This week, the teams were in China. Tammy & Victor had a clear advantage because they speak Chinese. Everyone landed in China around the same time except Michael & Mark (of course). Jaime and Cara got off to an early start with Tammy & Victor not too far behind. At the first clue box, Luke and Jen collided. Luke got to the clue box first and Jen came up very closely behind him, so Luke put his elbow up (signalling: get off of me). Jen pushes him and calls him a b****. It was so shocking to see her call him that for so many reasons: #1- women should not call men that word- it's very degrading to a man; #2- leave the deaf guy alone. When they arrived at the next clue box, Jen rushed to get in front of Luke and she ran into the clue box and knocked it over. They both started yelling at each other again. It was very strange because both teams have to get an envelope- who cares if you open it one second earlier...
The road block was a choice between dancing or writing Chinese Calligraphy. Jaime & Cara chose dancing and Tammy/Victor, Margie/Luke, and Jen/Kisha chose Calligraphy. The teams were lucky because Tammy/Victor spoke the language, so they just followed them everywhere. Michael & Mark finally arrived and started their challenges. They were so far behind everyone, they didn't have a chance at all at not being eliminated.
Jaime and Cara struggled with the choreography because of their bad attitudes (mostly Jaime), so they had to switch to Calligraphy. By that time, the other three teams were making the way to the pit stop. It turned into a race to the mat first. Unfortunately, Jen & Kisha outran Tammy/Victor and they came in first. I thought that they were wrong for doing that. They made it that far because of Tammy/Victor- they should've let them go first! Very rude! At the pit stop, Margie/Luke confronted Jen/Kisha and it got ugly. Jen/Kisha started laughing at Luke. It was very, very rude!!!! Michael & Mark got eliminated. I hope that Jen/Kisha go next week.

I'm watching Amazing Race all the way from Singapore. I love the show. But I must say that I'm not so crazy about some of the racers. I find Jaime/Cara and Jen/Kisha very rude and insulting. The comments they tend to make about Asians border on ethnocentrism and very very culturally insensitive. I may not be a Chinese, a Thai or an Indian, but i feel that their attitudes towards the Asian hosts are disgusting and offensive. I hope they lose.
